Charter management gives you the opportunity to buy a boat (new or slightly used) with least possible investment and costs.
Boating has turned into a big business over the past few years, especially in Croatia where the number of charter companies, chartered yachts and charter clients has multiplied since 2005 (from 324 to 780). Such growth is partially due to stricter regulations that marked the end of black charter market, but still, the striking growth is undeniable. Croatia has established itself as one of the most attractive charter grounds in the world and provides excellent opportunities for development of charter management.
With our charter management program, not only you will retain the value of invested capital, but it will increases, without much effort, commitment and unnecessary risk, and ongoing expenses, such as mooring maintenance, insurance, etc. are covered by profit from our charter. We are also considering in our program weeks that the owner wants to spend on a yacht. Three weeks in the season and the possibility of unlimited use of the yacht out of the season.
We can offer following options:
First option very common for the clients that own the sailboat and open a independent way of financing it (leasing or credit) and it looks like this; Brutto gain from chartering is divided 65%-35% to the owner or financial body, client and our company. With our 35% we pay agency commissions for the booking, marketing fees and maintaining of the boat in the season of chartering. With Your 65% you pay all the fees that do not include our work and are not covered with the charter insurance, the most expensive fees are annual berth, annual insurance, spare material, bank rates and so on. In other words, we are paid for our work and the rest goes to the boat, the fees of financing (credit or leasing at your own choice) are fees of the client and the client takes care of it himself as mentioned before. Total income is calculated after the discounts which we approve by the terms of the pricelist and it includes VAT.
Second option our financing and care; usual for large international charter operators and clients outside Croatia. Client pays to Charter Company 50% of the value of the boat, from the bank that finances the sailboat takes the guarantee for taking over the debt in case the charter company gets into financial problems. Important part is that after 6 years the boat becomes exclusively the ownership of the client and leaves the charter management program. In the meantime the owner has no obligations or fees. The only obligation of the owner is to confirm the dates he would like to use (three weeks in high season, low season by arrangement.)
